Our U16 boys drew with Cortoon in the 1st round of the league with the final score 0-12 each. This was a good overall team performance. Team: Cormac Haslam, James Burke, Ross Connolly, Mikie Conneally, Eugene Morgan, Daniel Smith, Jonathan Mannion, Michael Fox 0-7, Lewis Mulherin 0-1, Liam Glynn, Peter T Keaveney, Cathal Hynes, Michael Geary 0-1, Conor Ryan 0-3, Stephen Fox, Subs Liam Glynn, Chris Collins and Liam Burke.

Our U14 boys lost to a stronger Monivea/Abbey team last Friday evening (April 1st with the game ending Monivea/Abbey 4-7 to Glenamaddy 1-4. This was the 1st round of the league. We play Tuam Stars this Friday in Tuam @ 7pm, leaving the square at 6. Your support would really encourage this group of boys.

Congratulations also to Glenamaddy Community School junior girls who secured their place in the All Ireland final by beating Mallow, Co.Cork 1-10 to 1-8. Well done to all concerned.

Annual lotto ticket are now on sale from any GAA committee member for €90 (this represents a substantial saving on the weekly ticket, yet ensures you are included for EVERY draw) arrangements can be made to pay for the tickets in instalments. Lotto representatives for April are Liam O’Brien, Padraic Molloy and Michael Heneghan.
