U16 Boys - County League Final

Our U16 boys played Fr. Griffin / Eire Og  in the County League Final  in Pearse Stadium.   An exciting game to the end kept the  spectators kept on the edge of their seats as extra time was needed to decide the winner. Fr. Griffin / Eire Og led 1-9 to 1-4 at half time.  Liam Glynn was unable to play due to illness and we suffered a further blow when both Cormac Raftery and Cathal Hynes had to go off with injuries.  Our lads fought hard and thanks to two late goals from Colm Fallon the game ended  at normal time on a score of Glan 4-7 Fr.
