Our U16 team lost to Craughwell in the Shield final in what could only be described as a very intense game of football. The teams were level at half time 2-3 each and with the lead swinging first in favour of one side and then the other, it was Craughwell who managed to shade it in the end.
Well done to the management team and the panel and thanks to all who supported the team.

Hard luck to our intermediate team who bowed out of the championship when they were beaten by Oughterard; the game finishing on a scoreline of 1-8 to 0-10. Oughterard led 1-6 to 0-6 at half time and while they only added two more points to this in the second half Glenamaddy were unable to capitalise on this. Our backs put in a tremendous effort at all times throughout the game and when Glan decided to play the football that they are capable of and with the dangerous combination of James McHugh and Tomas Curtin up front, at times it looked like we could win this game.
Thanks to all the panel and the management team for their efforts and to all who travelled to Pearse Stadium to support the team.
